Purple Hair and Other Stuff

Wow, I'm a terrible blogger. I love writing, i really do, i promise. But I just don't have enough time to write about my life anymore because, you know, I'm busy doing absolutely nothing. It's tiring. Also, can someone tell me why is my Mac/The Internet being a pain in the ass right now? I'm speed typing (at least I THINK I'm speed typing ) but i'm only seeing the words on my screen 30 seconds later? Not cool.

Okay anyway I went on a short trip to Taylor's Lakeside Campus (which is where I'll be doing my degree) for a campus tour yesterday. And boy, I do love that city. Kuala Lumpur you stole my heart. Especially the beautiful buildings and beautiful people. Can't wait to spend the next 3 years of my life in that wonderful city.

Also, my hair is currently purple.

Update!

Hey, I know I've been away for too long. No one really reads this space, but I do. And i'm pretty sure a few years from now, I'm going to be pissed at myself for not updating more often. I like reading things I write about my days. I guess a lot has happened since the last time I wrote on this blog. But with everything changing, I'm still going to make sure I continue blogging on this site for myself. 

Update...

So, I started going to the gym. And yoga. And bokwa. And Zumba. I love it. 

I realised my decision for University has been set and that scares me a lot. 

I watched a movie that made me want to write.

You see, that's really hard because I'm about to major in Econs.

But i still want to write, nonetheless.

Weird part? I feel like screenplay sounds fun. 

I've never wrote a screenplay before. 

I'm more of a book/poem kind of writer. 

I'm going to miss Winky a lot. 

I was about to go to Netherlands but then I made a grown up decision of not going. 

I should be proud of myself for that but THE ANNE FRANK HOUSE. 

I feel like there's something between us and it's not over. 

I know I sound very stupid. 

BUT, 

I just feel it. 

I hope I'll be okay.

i can't wait to see my friends next week and our week long stay at KSL Hotel! it's going to be so fun! i'll keep you guys updated (i hope!!) or maybe i'll just go AWOL for a week and then update this little blog when i'm back. hmm i'm so very excited hehe. 

Escape Room WINNERS!

We are a pretty busy family, and we hardly ever have time for hanging out, we could go months without seeing each other because that's how occupied we always are. But we do try our best to go on adventures together. Unfortunately, we always have at least one person missing from the squad. And this time it was Dinesh who's busy working and Rakessh who had school! School on Sundays suck, and having to fly a plane on Sundays suck too, but hey responsibilities right? Hmm.  

Sometimes I take way too many pictures of myself, but hey LOVE YOURSELF RIGHT? Right ;)

We had Boat Noodles which was okay, i liked the side dishes we ordered though. Mango sticky rice mmmm yes yes yes! Most of us hadn't had boat noodles before so this was a first, and boy we do love firsts!

Have I mentioned I love scary stuff, even if I'm very easily scared!

We won! So, basically we were locked in a room and we had to escape it within 45 minutes by cracking the given clues. Let me tell you something about my family - we are pretty competitive and we love to win. Hahaha, we first we were all cool and calm until there was only 7 minutes on the clock and we still had one last clue to crack, and then, all hell broke loose, imagine 8 very kanchiong people in one tiny tiny tiny room. Hahahah! We managed to get out five minutes before time's up! We were really proud of ourselves hehe. Hence, such cray cray pictures. I think we took about 50 of them. But i'll spare you our vanity.

After the Escape Room we did a little shopping and decided we were still hungry. So we went to Seven Oaks for coffee and tea and hot chocolate and waffles and eggs benedict and other stuff I did not take pictures of because I only had 4% battery left. 

I love these people and our quarter-yearly hangouts (or more if we can manage). Boy, they make me laugh so much. Our favourite conversations include talking about our parents and their over-protectiveness.

It's Thursday, I'm thankful.

I'm thankful for;

-My dad who makes me the best salads for lunch (he added grapes in them! i love it)

-Driving lessons (that are not as bad as I thought they would be)
